History : Yamaki Co.,Ltd, the manufacturing company of shirt

1946　jul	The first president, Masafumi Miyamoto, began manufacturing and selling shirts in Funahashi-cho, Tenoji-ku, Osaka
1953　Jul	Incorporated as Yamaki Shoten with a capital of JPY 1 million in Misasagicho, Minamikawachigun, Osaka.
1958　Nov	Established an export department and entered into overseas markets starting with Hong Kong and Singapore.
1965　Sep	Changed company name to Swan Yamaki Co., Ltd. and increased the capital to JPY 6 million.
1968　Jan	Set up a quality laboratory. Began computerized processing.
1969　Mar	Established Taiwan Yamaki Co.,Ltd.
1975　Sep	Changed name to Yamaki Head Office following a corporate spin-off.
1983　Mar	Integrated all affiliated companies under Yamaki Co., Ltd. and restructured the divisional system. Completed the Osaka head office.
1986　Sep	Increased the capital to JPY 7.2 million. Exceeded JPY 10 billion in sales.
1987　Sep	Increased the capital to JPY 45 million.
1988　Ape	Opened Osaka Distribution Center
Sep	Increased the capital to JPY 58.8 million.
1989　Oct	Established Thai Yamaki Co., Ltd.
Nov	Completed Tokyo Building No.2.
1990　Aug	Increased the capital to JPY 1.37 billion.
1991　Aug	Completed Tokyo Building No.1.
Sep	Increased the capital to JPY 2.27 billion. Established Joymont Co., Ltd.
1992　Nov	President and Representative Director Masafumi Miyamoto assigned to the position of Chairman and Representative Director. Vice-president Keiji Miyamoto assigned to the position of President and Representative Director.
1994　Apr	Listed on Osaka Stock Exchange, Second Section Increased the capital to JPY 2.92 billion.
Aug	Established Hong Kong Yamaki Co.,Ltd.
1995　Mar	Established Shanghai Yamaki Garment Co., Ltd.
Dec	Established G&B Co., Ltd.
1996　May	Opened Higashi Osaka Distribution Center
1998　Apr	Opened Ichikawa Distribution Center
2003　Sep	Completed settling accounts for Taiwan Yamaki Co., Ltd.
2005　Jun	Established Lao Yamaki Co., Ltd.
2006　Jan	Began operations at Lao Yamaki Factory
2007　Aug	Established Shanghai Yamaki Trading Co., Ltd.
Sep	Opened a company store: STYLE WORKS in Uemachi.
Nov	Established the Singapore office “STYLE WORKS PTE. LTD.”
2008　Mar	Began operations at Shanghai Yamaki Trading Co., Ltd.
Apr	Began internet sales on Rakuten and Yahoo!Shopping
2011　Mar	Opened a company store: SHIRT HOUSE (1st store)
Sep	Began internet sales in China.
2012　Apr	Opened a company store: STYLE WORKS Ginza.
2014　Nov	Koyama CHOYA Sewing Co., Ltd. became a consolidated subsidiary.

Feb	Increased the capital to JPY 3.36 billion.
Oct	【CHOYA 1886】was certified for the first time as J∞QUALITY for its shirt.
Dec	Absorbed G&B Co., Ltd. a 100%-owned subsidiary of Yamaki.
2017　Jan	Exhibited CHOYA shirt at the Pitti Immagine Uomo for the first time.
Apr	Keiji Miyamoto took the position of Chairman and Representative Director. Masao Shirasaki took the position of President and Representative Director.
2018　Mar	Established Factory Express Japan Co.,Ltd.
Apr	Absorbed Joymont Co., Ltd. a 100%-owned subsidiary of Yamaki.
